Building Sustainable District-Wide SRTS Programs with Policy and Partnerships
This session will introduce the District-wide approach to SRTS planning and implementation and demonstrate how communities can tap into local experts and find allies to promote policies and partnerships that support active transportation.
Asset Mapping: From Resources to Volunteers
This session will go over the asset mapping framework to help attendees identify existing resources in their community that can propel SRTS planning and programming. The group will then discuss strategies to connect with identified assets and resources to a SRTS program by helping those assets see how their interests align with SRTS’ mission.
Students at the Center: SRTS Youth Engagement and Leadership
The Students at the Center webinar will help attendees identify ways to engage or enhance student participation in SRTS planning and programming.
Safe Routes to School for Rural Communities
Providing connectivity for students from home to school can be challenging for communities in a rural setting. This webinar will discuss some of the infrastructure and programming strategies that rural communities have used to provide active and inclusive transportation opportunities for students.
